HERA Launches New “Best Sustainability Report for International Companies” Award
Hong Kong, February 19 2024 – The Hong Kong ESG Reporting Awards (“HERA”) is pleased to announce the launch of a new “Best Sustainability Report for International Companies” Award category for its 2024 Awards.
Having made its presence known in the Hong Kong market over the past 7 years, HERA has witnessed a consistent and increasing demand from international companies based outside of the Greater China region.

HERA’s commitment to promoting best practices in ESG is aligned with the market trend, and we are excited to launch our new international Award to welcome participants from all over the globe.”
As Hong Kong continues to strive for higher quality ESG disclosures following the IFRS Sustainability Standards, HERA is excited to welcome the participation of more international companies who may be able to demonstrate global best practices and inspire the HERA Community.
The new Award category will recognize companies that showcase best practices on ESG reporting, and will be assessed using HERA’s eight core criteria, which covers strategy, performance targeting, governance, communication, materiality and stakeholder engagement, transparency, disclosure of management approach, and sustainability standards and initiatives.
Similarly to its other nine Award categories, companies can apply to be a part of HERA 2024 once Award submissions begin in April 2024. More information on HERA’s Award application may be found on the website.
