HERA Announces Winners of the 2026 Hong Kong ESG Reporting Awards
Record entries for the ninth edition underscore continued commitment to high-quality sustainability disclosure
HONG KONG — The Hong Kong ESG Reporting Awards (HERA) today announced the winners of its ninth edition. A platform recognising excellence in ESG reporting and sustainability practices, HERA promotes better disclosure, greater transparency and accountability, and wider recognition of high-quality sustainability reporting.
This year, HERA received a record more than 110 entries from listed and private companies, public institutions and non-governmental organisations. Entrants represented a broad range of sectors, including real estate, financial services, energy, industrials, transport, consumer goods, technology and public services. The record participation underscores the importance of sustainability reporting as a means of engaging stakeholders, alongside a growing focus on disclosure quality, data completeness and clear communication of climate-related risks and opportunities.
This year’s submissions demonstrated progress in reporting depth, data disclosure, governance, climate transition, social impact and the connection between sustainability strategies and business priorities. As regulatory requirements and investor expectations evolve, organisations are looking beyond compliance with reporting standards and frameworks to integrate material ESG issues and associated risks into business strategy, risk management and long-term value creation.
