Submissions for the 2024 HERA Hong Kong ESG Reporting Awards are now open
Hong Kong, 6 May 2024 – The 2024 Hong Kong ESG Reporting Awards (HERA) are currently accepting entries for 12 award categories, including a new category introduced this year: Best ESG Report (International). Participants who submit their entries on or before 30 June 2024 can avail a 10% discount. The final deadline for entry submission is 31 July 2024.
HERA is an award-winning non-profit initiative that recognizes outstanding achievements in ESG reporting and corporate sustainability. Organized by Hong Kong ESG Reporting Awards Limited, a company limited by guarantee, HERA has established itself as a highly sought-after recognition for companies demonstrating exceptional performance in these areas.
Tony Wong, Director of HERA Limited, stated, “As we celebrate the seventh year of HERA, the recent announcement of mandatory climate-related disclosure by HKEX marks a significant turning point for ESG disclosure in Hong Kong. Over the past seven years, HERA has successfully fostered the adoption of best practices in ESG reporting. An esteemed panel of judges with diverse backgrounds and expertise from various industries has been carefully selected to evaluate the entries. We take great pride in announcing our distinguished panel for this year, which includes Dr. Yarime Masaru, Associate Professor from the Division of Public Policy at HKUST, Mike Wong, CEO of the Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies, Lisa Marie Djeng, senior ESG investing professional, and Helen Leung, Mercer FundWatch Solutions Leader, Asia. Their extensive knowledge and experience will contribute to the thorough and fair evaluation process of the submissions.
HERA welcomes submissions of sustainability reports from organizations across Asia, encompassing various formats such as ESG reports within an annual report, stand-alone ESG/Sustainability/CSR reports, and Integrated reports. Entries are eligible for the most recent report published by an organization.
