HERA SUBMISSION NOW OPEN FOR 2025
Hong Kong, 24 June 2025 – The Hong Kong ESG Reporting Awards (“HERA”) celebrates its 8th year as the premier platform recognizing outstanding achievements and contributions in ESG disclosure. This year, HERA introduces three new award categories to reflect the dynamic evolution of ESG practices and the growing importance of innovative approaches in sustainability reporting:
- Excellence in Climate Transition Finance & Investment – Highlighting leadership in green bonds, sustainability-linked finance, and other instruments driving decarbonization
- Excellence in Workplace Well-Being and Growth – Recognizing organizations that excel in fostering employee well-being and professional development
- Best Digital ESG Disclosure – Honoring companies that leverage digital platforms like interactive dashboards and real-time data to enhance transparency and engagement
A 10% discount is available for early submissions received on or before 7 July 2025, with the final submission deadline set for 10 Aug 2025.
This year, HERA is proud to announce the addition of Prof. Anthony Cheung, an esteemed ESG expert and GHG Protocol Independent Standards Board Member, to the judging panel. With extensive experience in ESG strategy and sustainable investing, Anthony brings a fresh perspective to the evaluation process.

Submissions will be evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges based on rigorous criteria. Winners will be announced at a ceremony on 24 October 2025, at the Regency Ballroom of Hyatt Regency, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong.
HERA is open to all types of sustainability reports from organizations across Asia, including ESG reports within annual reports, stand-alone ESG/Sustainability/CSR reports, and integrated reports. Entries must feature the most recent report published by the organization.
