Celebrating Excellence in Sustainability: Hong Kong ESG Reporting Awards Announces Winners

Hong Kong, 14 October, 2024 – The Hong Kong ESG Reporting Awards (“HERA”) is delighted to announce the winners of this year’s competition, celebrating outstanding achievements in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting. With over 100 entries from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Singapore, Russia, and the Philippines, HERA continues to attract international participation, highlighting the growing global commitment to sustainability and transparency.

The winners, listed in the appendix, were selected by an independent panel of judges, comprising experts from diverse backgrounds, including business, non-governmental organisations, and academia. Esteemed judges overseeing HERA’s corporate performance evaluation process included Dr. Yarime Masaru, Associate Professor, Division Of Public Policy, HKUST, Lisa Marie Djeng, Senior ESG Investing Professional, Mr. Mike Wong, CEO, The Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies; Ms. Helen Leung, Mercer FundWatch Solutions Leader, Asia; Dr. Zhang Kun, Assistant Professor, Executive Director of Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, PHBS; and Dr. Allinnettes Adigue, Head, ASEAN Regional Hub Global Reporting Initiative.

This year’s awards, supported by the Hong Kong SAR Government’s Environment Bureau and the Financial Services Development Council, showcases organisations leading the way in responsible business practices. The winners were selected for their excellence in ESG reporting, demonstrating clarity, depth of information, and a commitment to sustainable development, based on criteria set by Alaya Consulting, a pioneer in ESG advisory.
